Dubai Silicon Oasis company setup
Dubai Silicon Oasis is on the UAE government portal’s Dubai free zone list and on dubai.ae. Dubai Law No. 16 of 2021 says it was established under Law No. 16 of 2005 and is supervised by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, which is also the legal successor of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority. A company licensed there is a free zone company of that authority. IFZA publishes its headquarters inside Dubai Silicon Oasis. That is an address, not a statement that IFZA and Dubai Silicon Oasis are the same licence. No Silicon Oasis package is printed here.
Technology park, not a blank activity list
This site’s free zone overview groups Dubai Silicon Oasis with technology, outsourcing and education campuses. Those campuses are not all the same authority. Dubai Internet City, Dubai Outsource City, Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City are separate names on the u.ae list. For Silicon Oasis itself, rely on the law and on the activity the authority will put on the licence. An IT services company should also read the IT licence page before picking a park from a logo.
dso.ae says DIEZ consolidates Dubai Airport Free Zone, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai CommerCity. The DAFZA page carries the airport zone. IFZA’s own about page puts IFZA’s headquarters and reception in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Read the IFZA page before you treat that brand as the Silicon Oasis authority. u.ae does not list IFZA as a separate free zone.
