Fazaa and the UAE Golden Visa
A UAE Golden Visa does not come with a Fazaa card. Fazaa’s FAQ describes the programme as services for employees of the Ministry of Interior, government and semi-government entities, Hemam and Frontline members, and locals working in the private sector. Golden Visa holders are not on that list. ICP’s Golden Residency benefits do not mention Fazaa either. Anyone selling a “Golden Visa Fazaa card” as part of the visa is adding a product the two official pages do not join.
Who Fazaa’s FAQ names
Fazaa describes itself as a social programme for its members. The FAQ answer used here is the one that says who can get a card. It is not a Golden Visa regulation, and it is not a price list. Discount percentages change by partner and are not copied onto this page.
- Employees of the Ministry of Interior.
- Employees of government and semi-government entities. A separate FAQ answer refers to entities that have signed an arrangement with Fazaa.
- Hemam and Frontline members.
- Locals working in the private sector.
If you fall into one of those groups and also hold a Golden Visa, Fazaa still decides membership. The visa does not skip Fazaa’s check, and Fazaa does not issue the visa. THAJ does not apply for Fazaa cards and does not quote a Fazaa fee. The official starting point Fazaa gives is its own application channel and the hotline printed on fazaa.ae.
What you actually get with the residence
The benefits that are published for the residence are on the benefits page: no sponsor, family sponsorship including parents, and the absence rule u.ae describes. A Dubai driving licence has a real RTA rule, kept on its own page so it is not mistaken for an ICP benefit. Fazaa is in this third group: a programme people hope is attached to the visa, and is not, on the sources this site uses.
If Fazaa later publishes a Golden Visa category, this page should be updated from that page. Until then, THAJ will not rely on blogs that assert one.
