UAE Golden Visa for Pakistani nationals

Pakistani citizens apply for the UAE Golden Visa under the same ICP categories as every other nationality. There is no Pakistan-only scheme, no special fee, and no lifetime visa. The routes people actually use are property of at least AED 2 million, a skilled role at MOHRE level 1 or 2 with a degree and at least AED 30,000 a month, business ownership, or outstanding study. THAJ works this file in English. Urdu is not one of the languages the team lists.

The rules do not change with the passport

ICP’s categories are not allocated by passport. Indian, Pakistani, British and Sri Lankan applicants use the same property, salary, business and student tests. There is no nationality price and no lifetime visa. In July 2025 ICP said reports of a lifetime Golden Residency for a number of nationalities were false, and that applications go only through official channels inside the UAE.

Property

AED 2 million in your name

Ready, mortgaged with an approved local bank, or off-plan from an approved developer. Property guide. DLD still requires you inside the UAE, in person.

Salary

Skilled professionals

MOHRE level 1 or 2, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a UAE work permit and contract, and at least AED 30,000 a month. Eligibility.

Salary under that

Green Visa, not a discount

AED 15,000 and levels 1 to 3 are the Green Residence test, a different permit. Compare them.

Family

Spouse, children, parents

After you hold the Golden Visa, on the family guide. A Pakistani marriage or birth certificate still has to be acceptable to the authority.

02

Pakistani documents need the usual attestation chain

DLD’s inheritance service states the standard for papers issued outside the UAE: attest them, including through the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the relevant embassy, and add a certified legal translation if they are not in Arabic. Degrees, marriage certificates and birth certificates from Pakistan are in that class whenever the authority asks for them.

THAJ coordinates attestation and translation and quotes after seeing the document. We do not publish a Pakistan attestation fee, and we do not publish a dirham-to-rupee rate. The rupee table on the Indian nationals page is an illustration for that currency only. It is not a benefit Indian applicants have and Pakistani applicants lack. The visa tests are the same.

Frequently asked questions

Can Pakistanis get the UAE Golden Visa?

Yes, under the same categories as other nationalities. There is no separate Pakistani programme.

Is there a lifetime Golden Visa for Pakistani citizens?

No. ICP has said reports of a lifetime Golden Residency for a number of nationalities are false.

Do you work in Urdu?

The languages THAJ lists are English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Sinhala. A Pakistani file is handled in English unless another of those languages is the one you want.

Do Pakistani degrees need attestation?

When the authority asks for the degree, yes. Foreign documents follow the attestation and translation standard DLD publishes for overseas papers. We quote after we see the certificate.
